The Wayfinder Hotel. Newport, RI.

Newport, RI has been a highlighted spot in my travels since my early 20’s (which was just a few years ago guys!! 🦗) and recurring retreats to this quintessential New England coastal town are definitely yearned for.
Safe + responsible travel was the theme for 2020, so driving to these special places that took all precautions was a must for us. And believe me, it is not lost on me that still continuing to travel during a pandemic was a risk. No lectures needed.

Cue in- the Wayfinder Hotel.

The Wayfinder is a new boutique hotel created by a group of local chefs, bartenders, artists, designers, and entrepreneurs who are proud to call Newport, RI home. A shared passion project, we’ve banded together to create a fresh take on the traditional Newport hotel experience.

This place was completely my vibe. From the interiors to the food to the cocktails to the location, I was impressed and even more so delighted to have the opportunity to work with them. Their beds were fluffy as clouds (all 4 of us snuggled up in King) and their lobby was private, quiet and cozy enough for us to enjoy their collection of local books and sip on a seasonal drink. A few favorite parts were the featured local artists work on their walls, along with the most delicious room service breakfast, delivered with a tablecloth to boot. Every detail was thoughtful + inspiring.

Visiting in the off season was incredibly beautiful, I can’t wait to see what the summer season brings.
